R&D Engineer

Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for a R&D Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct experimental research on product compounds including analysis and testing to investigate chemical properties and performance.
• Develop new products test methodologies and improve existing raw materials and formulations.
• Perform product testing and support trial run evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers during product testing and development stages to support product evaluation and application needs.
• Work closely with customers to develop application solutions that meet their requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers in a proactive and timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain quality system documentation including test methods process parameters and risk assessments.
• Participate in customer development projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical-related issues.
• Support customer visits and certification or audit activities.
• Manage procurement of laboratory equipment testing instruments and related materials.
• Facilitate technology transfer to production including grade transfers from other plants.
• Represent the department in company-wide activities and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science Chemical Engineering Chemical Process or a related discipline.
• Relevant working experience in R&D laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills particularly in problem-solving and failure analysis.
• Good conceptual and technical understanding of product development processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proactive responsible and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative integrity and willingness to learn.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4000 AWS VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location: Sembawang
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work 8:30am - 5pm
