Job Summary
Pipe Fabricator Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate piping spools as per isometric drawings and project specifications
- Mark cut bevel and fit-up pipes for welding
- Perform layout work and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Coordinate with welders for proper joint preparation
- Inspect fabricated items before installation
- Maintain fabrication tools and ensure quality standards
- Follow workshop and site safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in pipe fabrication (Oil & Gas preferred)
- Strong knowledge of isometric drawings and spool fabrication
- Experience in cutting beveling and fit-up processes
- Understanding of welding symbols and tolerances
- Ability to work in fabrication shop and site environments
