Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure Terraform and Linux environments to design implement and manage secure scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure core services infrastructure automation and cloud security best practices working closely with DevOps and application teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design deploy and manage scalable secure and highly available Azure infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance reliability and cost efficiency
• Manage Azure networking components including:
  • Virtual Networks (VNets)
  • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • VPN Gateways
  • Load Balancers
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Collaborate with DevOps Security and Application teams to support deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and performance issues
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance standards

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure core services (VMs Storage Networking)
• Proven experience with:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Azure VNet & Networking
  • Azure Load Balancer
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and RBAC
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor Log Analytics)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS TCP/IP VPNs Subnets)
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash)
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Exposure to Red Hat Linux / Linux administration

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of containers (Docker Kubernetes AKS)
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance standards
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (On-prem Azure)
• Understanding of cost optimization and governance
• Experience with Terraform modules and automation frameworks
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS GCP)
• Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Exposure to serverless services (Azure Functions Logic Apps)
• Relevant Azure certifications (AZ-104 AZ-305 etc.)
