Job Summary

The Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing managing and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for architectural works. This role ensures model accuracy compliance with project standards and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams including structural and MEP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant tools.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans sections elevations and details derived from BIM models.
  • Ensure all models comply with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards.
  • Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks and participate in coordination meetings.
  • Update models based on design changes RFIs and site feedback.
  • Produce shop drawings and as-built models as required.
  • Maintain proper file naming version control and data management in line with BIM workflows.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of material schedules from the BIM model.
  • Support the BIM Manager in implementing BIM standards and workflows.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Architecture Civil Engineering or Drafting.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture) with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
  • Good understanding of Level of Development (LOD) requirements and BIM standards including ISO and project-specific BEP.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings accurately.
  • Strong coordination communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working on high-rise commercial residential or mixed-use developments is preferred.
  • Previous exposure to GCC projects and multidisciplinary coordination environments is an advantage.
  • Certification in BIM or Revit will be considered an added benefit.
