Job Summary:
We are seeking a Petroleum Lab / Calibration Specialist to support oil analysis programs and equipment calibration activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with spectrometric oil analysis and calibration of tools and test equipment ensuring accuracy reliability and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform spectrometric oil analysis on samples using appropriate testing methods.
- Receive record prioritize and prepare oil and other liquid samples for analysis.
- Analyze test results and identify abnormal wear contamination or other issues.
- Transfer and maintain accurate test data in master data systems.
- Notify leadership and quality control personnel of results exceeding established thresholds.
- Perform in-house calibration of tools and test equipment including adjustments minor repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain records of all equipment requiring calibration and ensure compliance with schedules.
- Support calibration programs systems and subsystems.
- Utilize and interpret military and civilian publications related to oil analysis and calibration programs.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate of Science degree highly desired.
- Graduate of a Spectrometric Oil Analysis Operator/Evaluator (Atomic Emission Spectrometer) course or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in oil analysis programs within the last 10 years.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Fluent in English.
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally our program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to these regulations throughout their employment.
