An established and reputable independent financial advice firm is seeking a Trainee Mortgage Adviser to join its growing team. The business is committed to delivering clear tailored mortgage and financial guidance with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships professionalism and transparent advice.

This opportunity is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is looking to develop into a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser within a supportive whole-of-market environment.

The Role

Working alongside experienced advisers you will gain hands-on exposure to the full mortgage advice process while building the knowledge and skills required to progress including:

• Supporting cases from initial enquiry through to completion
• Assisting with fact-finding research and preparation of recommendations
• Developing an understanding of whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
• Supporting a range of cases including residential buy-to-let and remortgages
• Maintaining accurate and compliant client records in line with regulatory requirements
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and introducers
• Actively working towards becoming a fully competent and qualified adviser

What Were Looking For

• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified or actively working towards completion
• Previous experience within financial services is beneficial but not essential
• A genuine interest in developing a career in mortgage and protection advice
• An understanding of regulatory standards and compliance expectations
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• A professional client-focused approach with strong communication skills
