We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Lucan. This is a full-time permanent position.
Pharmacy opens 7 days a week with some late openings.
As a Supervising Pharmacist your key responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients suppliers and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of required medications.
Ensuring all paperwork is accurate up-to-date and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and providing leadership to the team.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients colleagues and suppliers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
Managing inventory and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked.
Supervising and supporting the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of service.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
Building rapport with customers and addressing their healthcare needs.
