Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer & Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable enterprise-grade data platforms. This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS Snowflake and cloud data platforms along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture

• Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.
• Design scalable secure and high-performance data models and frameworks.
• Establish data governance standards and best practices across the organization.
• Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

Data Engineering

• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS.
• Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality integrity and reliability across pipelines.
• Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Engage with business users (finance investment and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.
• Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration Data Quality Application Integration).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing optimization performance tuning).
• Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional normalized and enterprise models).

Experience in cloud platforms.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.
• Proven experience designing end-to-end data solutions.

Domain Expertise

• Experience in investment management asset management or financial services.
• Understanding of financial data portfolio analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial environments.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
• Strong leadership ownership and mentoring capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools.
