Job Summary

Senior Full Stack Java Developer (GIS)
Aartselaar Belgium (Hybrid 23 days onsite/week)
Contract: Until Dec 2026 Full-time

Were hiring a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build and enhance modern GIS-based web applications on Azure within a product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable full-stack applications using Java (17/21) and Angular
Contribute to GIS-driven platforms (map layers spatial data asset visualization)
Design and build microservices & REST APIs (Spring Boot Hibernate)
Work within Azure ecosystem (AKS Azure DevOps cloud-native deployments)
Collaborate in Agile/Safe teams to deliver high-quality features
Ensure clean code testing (JUnit) and CI/CD practices

Requirements

Strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with Azure (AKS DevOps) and Docker
Knowledge of GIS concepts / spatial data
Proficiency with REST APIs Git Maven SQL Server
Fluent Dutch and good English

Nice to Have

Experience with OAuth OpenAPI
Exposure to RxJS / reactive programming
Interest or experience using AI-assisted development tools
