Job Summary

An opportunity has risen for a nightshift (3:30pm->1am) storeman to join us at Mainfreight Tauranga.

We are looking for team players that are committed to Mainfreight and its Branch constantly strives to be the best and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a tight passionate and fun environment where we are always looking to promote and provide those who want to further their career and learn all areas of transport.

Ideally the successful applicant will have a:

2 Years forklift experience ideally with General Freight
DG licence. (We can provide training if you do not have this)
Forklift licence. (We can provide training if you do not have this)
Good geographic knowledge of New Zealand
A keen eye for Health and Safety aspects
A passion to do it right first time.
A can do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Flexibility on hours especially around the busy periods.
Solid communication skills
Has good time management.

The role will be varied but most of all you will be involved in the day-to-day loading and unloading of our customers freight to/from various destinations as well as checking freight onto units

Experience in a certain roleisntnecessary but willingness to learn a strong work ethic ambition and motivation are essential.

To be considered for this position you must be a New Zealand citizen or resident you will need to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug and AlcoholTest.
