Job Summary
Job Title: Pharmacy Tech (Hudson MA)
Location: Hudson Massachusetts
Pay: $18.43 $21.43 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM with the expectation to stay until work is completed.
On-call rotation every 3rd weekend.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Tech for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time this role you will work primarily in a clean room environment as an IV/Compounding Clean Room Tech and support sterile compounding operations in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare IV medications
- Support sterile compounding workflows
- Maintain compliance with clean room and pharmacy standards
- Assist with prescription fulfillment
- Perform data entry
- Prepackage medications
- Support inventory management
- Support final prescription review under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Maintain clean room supplies
- Support environmental monitoring activities
- Assist with compliance tracking
- Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness
- Ensure safe accurate and timely medication preparation and delivery
Requirements:
- Home infusion experience required
- Antibiotic and TPN compounding experience required
- IV and sterile compounding experience required
- USP 797 familiarity required
- Compliance experience required
- Environmental monitoring experience required
- Clean room experience required including cleaning and monitoring
- Ability to manage biannual employee compliance responsibilities
