Job Summary
Job Title: Pharmacy Tech (Fridley MN)
Location: Fridley Minnesota
Pay: $19.87 $22.87 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday with varying shifts of 10:00 AM 6:30 PM 11:00 AM 7:30 PM or 12:00 PM 8:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday shifts of 9:00 AM 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM 6:30 PM.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Tech for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time this role you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and be responsible for supporting prescription fulfillment IV preparation and medication prepackaging while ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support prescription fulfillment
- Prepare IVs
- Prepackage medications
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations
- Assist with data entry for prescription processing and reimbursement support
- Help prepare medications for dispensing
- Support the pharmacist in final prescription checks
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery to customers
- Maintain inventory
- Receive and rotate incoming medications and supplies
- Track lot numbers and expiration dates
- Assist with physical inventory
- Help maintain a clean safe and organized work environment including equipment checks for calibration safety and cleanliness
