Job Summary
Job Title: Pharmacy Tech (Vineland NJ)
Location: Vineland New Jersey
Pay: $19.87 $22.87 per hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Tech for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time this role you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and be responsible for filling prescriptions preparing IVs and supporting accurate medication dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare IVs
- Support accurate medication dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and regulations
- Assist with data entry for prescription processing and reimbursement support
- Prepackage medications for dispensing
- Support the pharmacist with final prescription checks
- Help coordinate accurate and timely delivery to customers
- Maintain inventory
- Receive and rotate medications and supplies
- Track lot numbers and expiration dates
- Assist with physical inventory
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment including equipment calibration and cleanliness checks
Requirements:
- Registration with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required
