Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacist for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time this role you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations maintaining accurate and confidential patient records and counseling patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications
Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications including dosage storage side effects and drug interactions
Monitor medication compliance and overuse patterns
Identify drug-related concerns
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Compound medications
Prepare sterile solutions
Supervise pharmacy staff
Maintain proper inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
Active state pharmacist license required
