Job Summary
Job Title: Pharmacist (Apex NC)
Location: Apex North Carolina
Pay: $55.12 $60.12 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday with rotating shifts (8:00 AM5:00 PM 8:30 AM5:30 PM or 9:00 AM6:00 PM) and required evening and weekend on-call coverage. Overtime available as needed.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time this role you will support home infusion pharmacy operations in Apex North Carolina. You will be responsible for managing home infusion therapies through clinical review sterile compounding and workflow coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review referrals for clinical appropriateness including drug dose route and lab requirements
- Manage new patient starts refills medication reconciliation and patient counseling
- Monitor lab-dependent therapies
- Coordinate care with providers and nursing teams
- Complete accurate prescription entry and documentation
- Support claim adjudication
- Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications
- Ensure accurate labeling and lot tracking
- Maintain compliance with USP standards
- Supervise pharmacy technicians
- Support production and delivery workflows
- Maintain inventory
- Ensure safe timely medication dispensing and delivery
Requirements:
- Home infusion experience required
