Job Summary
Job Title: Pharmacist (Fridley MN)
Location: Fridley Minnesota
Pay: $55.12 $60.12 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday with varying shifts: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM 10:00 AM 6:30 PM or 11:00 AM 8:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be offered but is not required.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacist for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time this role you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations maintaining accurate patient records and counseling patients on the safe use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Counsel patients on the safe use of medications
- Provide guidance on prescription and over-the-counter medications including dosage storage side effects and drug interactions
- Identify medication-related concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Support patient education
- Prepare compounded medications and sterile solutions
- Supervise pharmacy staff
- Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical inventory
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Active state pharmacist license required
- IV experience preferred but not required
