Our client is a growing provider in the Managed Services Cloud and Cybersecurity space expanding its presence across Texas. The organization is well-established and continuing to scale offering a strong portfolio of IT solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients. With a focus on growth and performance the company is building out its sales leadership team to drive new business and strengthen its footprint in key markets.


About the Role

Our client is seeking a Sales Manager based in San Antonio TX to lead a field sales team across the San Antonio and Austin markets. This is a hands-on player-coach role focused on driving pipeline new business development and team performance.


This is not a traditional management positionthis leader will be actively engaged in the field working alongside sales representatives to coach in real-time support deal strategy and help close business. The role will oversee a team of five (with one open headcount) and will be responsible for building momentum in a territory with significant untapped growth potential particularly in San Antonio.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of outside sales representatives
  • Driving pipeline generation prospecting activity and revenue growth
  • Coaching and mentoring reps through active deal cycles
  • Partnering with the team in the field to support client engagement and closing strategies
  • Establishing a high-performance accountability-driven sales culture


Requirements


Experience & Background:

  • 5 years of outside sales management experience
  • Proven success leading field-based sales teams
  • Background in IT Services Managed Services (MSP) Cloud or Cybersecurity strongly preferred
  • Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise environments

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong track record in pipeline development prospecting and new business generation
  • Hands-on leadership style with a lead from the front mentality
  • Ability to coach develop and motivate high-performing sales teams
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment

Additional Details:

  • Must be based in or near San Antonio TX
  • Will require regular travel between San Antonio and Austin
  • Experience with companies such as CDW SHI Insight Presidio WWT ePlus Trace3 or AHEAD is highly relevant

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $130000 $150000
  • Total Compensation (OTE): $200000 $225000
