Pay: $155000.00 - $195000.00 per year

Location: Full-time primarily on-site in Yardley PA (5 days/week) with occasional work-related travel and standard PTO.

Note: Must have an active Pennsylvania or New Jersey bar license and 3 years of litigation experience (insurance defense and or coverage experience strongly preferred).

Job Description

• Defend insurers and their insureds in first-party property and third-party liability matters
• Manage cases from inception through resolution including investigations strategy discovery and motion practice
• Draft pleadings dispositive motions and key discovery materials; take and defend depositions
• Prepare for mediations arbitrations and trial (including trial presentations)
• Research coverage issues and draft clear client-ready coverage opinions
• Communicate directly with insurers corporate legal departments and opposing counsel to drive outcomes
• Coordinate with partners and senior counsel while also mentoring and supporting junior attorneys

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in PA or NJ required (additional licenses welcome; NY is a strong plus)
• 3 years of litigation experience (insurance defense and or coverage preferred)
• Strong writing analysis and case-management skills across multiple deadlines
• Confident communicator who works well in a team-forward high-standards environment
