Job Summary
We are hiring a Precision Quality Inspector for a Direct Hire position in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for experienced inspectors skilled in tight tolerance machining inspection blueprint reading and quality assurance within aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
Pay: $25$30/hr (DOE)
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of precision-machined components with tolerances as tight as 0.0002
- Interpret blueprints engineering drawings and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
- Use precision tools such as micrometers calipers height gauges and inspection instruments
- Identify and document nonconformances (NCRs) and support root cause investigations
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation for aerospace/customer compliance
Requirements:
- 25 years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
- Experience working with tight tolerances (0.0005 or tighter required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers calipers gauges etc.)
