Compensation and Work Structure
- Salary up to $180K for highly qualified candidates
- $145K$165K for candidates with 23 years of experience
- Mostly remote with only one in-office day per week
- 1620 billable hours annually
Candidate Requirements
- JD degree with active California Bar membership in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of employment litigation experience
- Experience with depositions discovery and motion practice
- Knowledge of California civil procedure and federal court rules
- Strong research analytical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage caseload and develop legal strategies
- Draft complaints motions and discovery documents
- Attend court hearings and support trial preparation
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Communicate with clients witnesses and experts
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
- Collaborate with legal teams and opposing counsel
