Machine Shop Helper
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Machine Shop Helper to support daily operations in a busy machine shop. This role involves assisting with machine setup basic programming support material handling and general shop duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup programming support and basic editing
- Operate shop equipment under supervision
- Handle materials and maintain a clean organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Support machinists and technicians as needed
Requirements
- No background required
- Bilingual preferred
- Must be cleanshaven (respirator requirement)
- Able to stand for long periods and lift as needed
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
PPE Required
- Halfface respirator (must be able to be respiratorfit)
- Steeltoe boots
