Job Title:Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction
Location: El Paso TX (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $160000 - $170000 Annually (Based on experience) Yearly Bonus

Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager owns project outcomes across safety schedule quality financial performance and client satisfaction on significantly complex commercial construction projects valued at $100M. This role leads the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout managing people processes and client relationships while delivering projects safely on schedule and profitably.
This is a GC-side leadership role. Candidates must come from general contractor environments and have direct ownership of project financials schedules and subcontractor management not advisory owners rep or consulting roles.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and model a strong safety culture across the project team; investigate incidents and retrain staff as needed
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: preconstruction buyout construction and closeout
Support preconstruction including quantity takeoffs trade coordination scope development bid packages schedule development and bid analysis
Lead buyout strategy: verify pricing and scope conduct gap analysis issue subcontracts
Establish and manage submittal schedules; review and approve shop drawings and samples prior to submission
Lead coordination among subcontractors owners field leadership design teams and vendors
Manage the change order process including pricing reviews schedule impacts and owner/architect approvals
Lead project meetings including OAC meetings progress meetings and monthly project reviews
Oversee subcontractor and owner pay applications monthly
Develop maintain and update project schedules in collaboration with the Project Superintendent using Lean principles
Identify schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies related to scope changes manpower weather and procurement
Prepare monthly cost reports and margin forecasts; actively manage budgets and drive financial performance
Lead project closeout including punch lists subcontract closeout warranties and final financial reconciliation
Interface with legal counsel as required on contractual matters
Required Background
Currently or recently employed at a General Contractor (GC); owners rep developer-side and construction consultancy backgrounds will not be considered
$100M single project experience required; project values must be listed on resume
Experience delivering healthcare higher education data center or large-scale commercial projects; multifamily and residential experience does not qualify
10 years of construction management experience at the Senior PM level or equivalent
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience considered
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
Proven ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships from preconstruction through closeout
Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
Proficiency with project management and accounting software (CMiC or similar)
Solid understanding of construction means and methods project controls and financial management
Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to work non-traditional hours and travel as project demands require
Data center or mission-critical project experience (preferred)
BIM coordination experience on large commercial projects (preferred)
LEED AP credential or experience delivering LEED-certified projects (preferred)
