Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with experience in machined components and turbomachinery to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and ISO 9001 standards. This role focuses on dimensional inspection nonconformance reporting and quality documentation in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional and layout inspections on machined parts and assemblies
Use CMM Optical Comparator and Faro Arm for inspection and measurement
Generate and maintain nonconformance reports (NCRs)
Review supplier documentation and material certifications
Maintain calibration of inspection tools and equipment
Support QMS and continuous improvement initiatives
Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
Requirements:
25 years of Quality Inspection experience (machined parts)
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Proficient with CMM Optical Comparator and Faro Arm
Ability to perform trigonometric and geometric calculations
Experience with precision measurement tools and calibration
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
Ex-military/Navy background (aircraft mechanic or similar)
Experience with turbomachinery or aerospace components
Additional Details:
Location: Bethlehem PA (onsite)
Travel: Up to 5%
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
