We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join NextEra Energys finance this role you will support accounting operations financial reporting and compliance activities. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and statements
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional communication abilities
