Saint Paul College invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Business Office Systems Technology. Faculty in the Business Office Technology program are members of the Business Department which is committed to providing students from diverse backgrounds with a strong foundation in essential business principles. The BTEC curriculum supports the Office Management Professional Associate of Applied Science degree and the Customer Service Office Support certificate as well as additional Business degrees and certificates. The Business Department values diverse perspectives and professional experiences and promotes a collaborative participatory culture that recognizes the important role faculty play in service to the college.
Salary Range:
Please note that the full salary range for a nine-month academic year appointment is $43067 - $94542; initial salary placement for new Minnesota State College faculty is between $43067 and $71893 depending on academic credentials and years of creditable professional experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business management business education or marketing.
Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in business office applications and operations.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of post-secondary teaching experience
Experience teaching college students who are: first generation English language learners culturally racially linguistically academically and neuro-diverse.
Documented experience with evidence-based high-impact teaching practices and course designs for in-person online asynchronous and blended/hybrid delivery models.
Microsoft Office Specialist Certification or five years experience using the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
Instructional or work experience in one or more of the following areas: project management business analytics business applications of artificial intelligence or workforce development.
An understanding of the community college mission and its unique student population
