• Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools
• Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced carpenter needed for a company focused on quality and an industry that is driven by quantity we are driven by quality. The perfect individual must have a good attitude and work well with others as it is important that you are a team player willing to learn and to continue to add to ones skillset. We focus on commercial construction; Thus this person must have significant previous carpenter experience. The right candidate lives in Melbourne Orlando Tampa or Jacksonville and is willing to travel.

Carpenter Responsibilities

• Installs foundations walls floors ceilings and roofs using materials such as: wood steel metal concrete plastics and composites of multiple materials
• Studies specifications in blueprints sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements using hand tools machines or power saws
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Ability to assemble/build scaffolding and other needed construction structure
• Ability to multitask and stay focused
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
