Job Summary

Founding / Staff Software Engineer (iOS) - New York (3 days in a week Onsite)

Mandatory:-

8 years of experience building and maintaining iOS applications

Owned or oversaw end-to-end development of an iOS app with strong polish and taste

Mix of both Big Tech & startup experience and has demonstrated strong progression throughout

Founding iOS engineer experience building an app from scratch.

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (iOS) with 5 years of experience to build and ship Companys first iOS application from scratch. We are seeking a founding engineer with clear product and design intuition who can own the end-to-end development process. This is a crucial role to establish our mobile presence and set the quality standard for our native app experiences.

What will you be doing

Own the end-to-end development of Harmonics first iOS app from initial setup and architecture to shipping the final product.
Partner with Product and Design leads to create exceptional world-class interactive experiences particularly with AI-native chat UX.
As the founding iOS engineer drive key technical decisions and help shape the future of mobile development at Harmonic.
Establish scalable foundations including testing strategies CI/CD pipelines and reusable components to enable future team growth.
Turn ideas into polished production-ready features quickly defining what a great native iOS app feels like for our users.
