HPC Senior Software Engineer Linux, Apache, Grafana

Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer who will be responsible for creating sustaining and troubleshooting complex operational data flows including data storage data transport data management data security data compliance and knowledge store management. Additional tasking shall include working with the mission customer to perform exploration data analysis on raw data to clean enrich transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. The Software Engineer will also be responsible for devising methods to improve existing operational data flow processing distribution and reliability.

Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity or bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity or nine (9) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.

Required skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• Experience writing scripts using Shell/Bash/Python
• Linux administration experience including software integration service management configuration management and routine sustainment operations related to dataflow management and ETL tasks
• Extensive software development experience with Java and Python
• Experience with stream/batch Big Data processing and analytic frameworks including Spark
• Experience with CI/CD principles methodologies and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration
• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana Kibana Nagios etc.
• Experience with Git for source code management branching strategies and team collaboration
• Experience with NiFi software to include custom processor development dataflow management configuration and installation

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA Confluence)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
