WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
The American Red Cross is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Fundraising & Marketing Technology Group (FMTG) in supporting applications that help to deliver ARCs mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
In this role you will be responsible for driving personalized experiences to enhance customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute personalized content strategies leveraging data-driven insights and Adobes technology stack. As an Adobe Platform Developer you will manage customer journeys and personalization efforts throughout the Red Cross flagship sites and and work closely with marketing team members to determine a strategy for identity recognition and personalization at scale. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a creative mindset.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast or Central hours.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing design analytics and IT to implement personalization goals and requirements.
Develop and execute personalized content strategies across Adobes digital platforms.
Utilize Adobe Experience Cloud solutions specifically Adobe Target Analytics and Data Collection (Launch) to implement and optimize personalized experiences.
Work with the user experience and testing & optimization team to plan and implement new user experiences.
Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in customer data management and marketing technology.
Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.
Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology marketing digital media or a related field.
7 years of experience working as a software developer data engineer or related role focusing on marketing technology personalization and optimization.
5 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Cloud specifically Data Collection (Launch) Analytics and Target.
3 years of experience developing applications using JavaScript.
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of driving successful outcomes in optimizing customer journeys.
Knowledge and experience with conversion rate optimization.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART (preferred qualifications):
Experience with agile methodology and project management tools is a plus
Experience with additional Adobe services: AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) Customer Journey Analysis and Adobe Real-Time CDP a plus.
* Combination of candidates education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to descriptions minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
PAY INFORMATION:
The starting annual salary range for this position is $120K - $130K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
