Job Summary
Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time shop and field service role in Dover NJ (07801). This is a hands-on position focused on industrial machinery repair hydraulic systems welding and equipment rebuilding.
Pay: $30.00 $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic system issues
- Rebuild assemble and install machine components and parts
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment efficiency and safety
- Perform field service visits at customer sites as needed
- Collaborate with team members on repair and fabrication projects
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright
- Strong hydraulic system troubleshooting and assembly experience (required)
- TIG and fusion welding experience (required)
- Machine rebuilding experience (gearboxes shafts motors bearings seals)
- Ability to perform steel grinding and polishing (stainless & carbon steel)
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors and switches)
- Experience with machining and mechanical fabrication
- Valid drivers license (required for field service work)
