Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Venipuncture (jugular & medial saphenous)

• IV catheter placement & fluid therapy

• Administer IV IM and SQ medications

• Anesthesia monitoring (induction recovery)

• Surgical and dental support (including dental radiographs)

• Technician appointments

• Patient nursing care for hospitalized cats

• In-house diagnostics (urinalysis Idexx Vet Lab Station radiographs)

• Client education and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT LVT or CVT)

• New graduates welcome

• Experience in veterinary clinic preferred

• Confident low-stress handling of feline patients

• Strong communication and attention to detail

• Dependable team-oriented

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Schedule

• MondayFriday: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM

• Saturday: 7:30 AM 12 PM

• Sunday: Closed
  Full-time or part-time available
