Job Summary

Nature and Scope

This position is responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process of assessment diagnosing planning implementation evaluationand documenting direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with the physicians plan of care. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient resident care delivery and the achievement of desired resident outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of residents age and cultural diversity into the provision of resident care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in resident care.

Compensation

Compensation Philosophy:

  • We have 30 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience.

Compensation range:

  • $57.72 - $82.30

Job Status / Shift Information

  • Per-diem non-benfited

Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current certification in CPR.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medications interpreting diagnostic tests formulating a plan of care collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to residents and/or significant others.

Responsibilities

  • Collects resident health data.
  • Perform admission discharge and transfer procedures and assist others with residents activities and care.
  • Participate in Care Conference with IDT.
  • Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnoses/resident problems.
  • Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the resident.
