Pay Transparency & Pay Equity Counsel California

We are seeking aPay Transparency & Pay Equity Counsel to join our technology client this role you will provide expert legal advice and support to our client on global compensation pay transparency and pay equity matters ensuring compliance and mitigating risk across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a leading global technology company shaping legal strategies and supporting business success in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting reviewing and advising on compensation-related policies frameworks and supporting documentation.
• Providing legal guidance on pay transparency pay equity salary disclosure equal pay and compensation compliance matters.
• Collaborating with Legal HR Total Rewards analytics teams and other cross-functional stakeholders on compensation initiatives and regulatory implementation.
• Managing compensation-related legal and regulatory issues for a multinational technology client across the U.S. UK EU and other global jurisdictions.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes including the EU Pay Transparency Directive UK gender pay gap reporting and U.S. salary disclosure laws to provide proactive counsel.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in employment law compensation and benefits law or a related practice area.
• Strong knowledge of global pay transparency pay equity and compensation compliance regulations.
• Proven track record of advising clients on complex employment or compensation-related legal matters in multinational organizations.
• Excellent communication negotiation technology and problem-solving skills.
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Preferred Skills:

• Global experience to support upcoming implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive
• Familiarity with global pay equity reviews job architecture leveling frameworks and compensation governance structures.
• Experience partnering with HR Total Rewards and compensation teams in a global organization.
• Experience supporting compensation and benefits due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Prior experience advising technology companies or other fast-paced multinational organizations.

Compensation:
