Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community is a private outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in spine rehabilitation TMJ dysfunction pelvic floor therapy orthopedic injuries and manual therapy. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic spine TMJ pelvic floor and/or musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about specialty care manual therapy patient education and building long-term relationships with referral sources and our patients. We are open to hiring new providers and providing additional training and support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treat patients with spine orthopedic TMJ pelvic floor post-surgical and/or chronic pain conditions
- Provide manual therapy therapeutic exercise neuromuscular re-education and patient education to support long term patient wellness and function
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate timely medical records
- Coordinate care with physicians dentists oral surgeons OB/GYNs pain management providers and other referral sources
- Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff as needed
- Maintain compliance with payer regulatory and practice standards
- Participate in team meetings quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Help grow Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Communitys specialty programs and referral relationships within the community
Preferred Clinical Experience
- Outpatient orthopedic and spine rehabilitation
- Manual therapy

- Dry needling
- Vestibular rehabilitation
- Womens health
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Chronic pain management
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred
- Pelvic floor TMJ dry needling manual therapy or specialty certifications a plus
