Position Overview
On behalf of our healthcare client we are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their clinical imaging team in Bakersfield California. Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory standards.
Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper identification throughout all procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and departmental policies.
Collaborate with physicians radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
Current ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification.
Active or eligible state licensure as applicable.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay range: $45$70/hour (DOE)
