Program Overview

Glide Relaunch USA is a tenweek returntowork program for professionals returning after a current career break of at least two years. Youll step into a role reserved for a Glide fellow spending the majority of your time on rolealigned work and receiving weekly program support that includes skills refresh alumni engagement and networking opportunity.

Program Expectations

• Must be able to commit to the full tenweek program from June 24-August 28
• Fulltime employment decisions based on program performance will be made immediately following the returnship with employment beginning September 4 without a break in service

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Systems Operations Engineer for our Glide Relaunch USA returnship for the Technology business division in the Infrastructure Operations & Reliability (IOR) Platform Frontline Group. This role supports Critical Infrastructure Operations within Platform Management providing handson production support for distributed infrastructure and enterprise platforms. The focus is on incident response change execution and operational reliability of critical systems.

In this role you may:

• Provide handson production support for distributed platforms ensuring rapid incident response and service recovery
• Participate in incident management including triage escalation coordination remediation and postincident reviews
• Execute change management activities in accordance with established controls and risk management practices
• Support enterprise disaster recovery (DR) readiness and testing for highseverity events
• Monitor system health and performance using enterprise monitoring and observability tools; proactively identify risks
• Collaborate with engineering command center and crossfunctional teams to resolve issues and ensure effective handoffs
• Contribute to problem management and rootcause analysis driving operational improvements
• Support shiftleft operations by transitioning responsibilities from engineering teams into IOR
• Create and maintain runbooks and operational documentation to improve mean time to acknowledge (MTTD) and mean time to recovery (MTTR)
• Participate in oncall rotations providing production support aligned to U.S. AZ business hours

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of Systems Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
• Rejoining the workforce after taking a current break from your professional career of at least 2 years

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting production environments including incident problem and change management
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience using monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana Splunk ServiceNow)
• Strong understanding of ITIL service management practices
• Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex issues across distributed systems and enterprise platforms
• Experience with distributed infrastructure largescale applications or enterprise platforms
• Exposure to automation scripting or configuration management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
• Ability to analyze performance trends and recommend operational or process improvements
• Experience serving as an internal resource or consultant on technical tools and processes

Job Expectations:

• This position offers a hybrid in office work schedule
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship now or in the future
• This role supports a 24/7 operation
  • During the 10week returnship the schedule will be MondayFriday 40 hours per week regular business hours- 8hrs/day
  • Postreturnship offer would be for day shifts either from 8:005:00 pm or 12:009:00 pm and would require oncall coverage one weekend (Saturday-8 hours & Sunday-8 hours) per month

Pay Range:*

• $40.00- $50.00 /Hour

*Pay range is determined by location of the job.
