Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Change/Claims Managerto support one of themost iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). In this role you will be assisting with field supervision compliance documentation quality assurance and coordination to ensure successful package delivery and adherence to all technical regulatory and contractual requirements.

We are working in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of theMPA Delivery Partner team selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation and is designed to strengthen mobility enhance resiliency and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.

The project encompasses the construction of a new two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.

Role Accountabilities:

• Evaluate and analyze change requests and claims submitted by stakeholders contractors and project teams.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the validity impacts and implications of proposed changes and claims on project scope schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with project managers legal counsel and relevant stakeholders to negotiate and resolve claims in a timely and fair manner.
• Maintain detailed documentation of change orders claims negotiations and resolutions.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize disputes mitigate risks and streamline the change management Process.
• Communicate changes and claim resolutions effectively to all parties involved to ensure alignment and understanding.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in project management construction management business or related field.
• Proven experience in change management claims management contract administration or related field.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of project management principles contract documents and claims procedures.
• Excellent negotiation communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex situations to reach equitable solutions.
• Certification in project management or claims management is a plus.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $120000 - $165000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
