As aCategory Manager Global Chemicalsyou will beresponsibleforleadingIngredionsglobalchemicalcategorystrategiesoverseeing$150M inannualspend.ReportingdirectlytotheSr. ManagerGlobal Chemicals.Thisrole willfocusonexecutingsourcingstrategiesmanagingsupplierrelationshipsanddrivingmeasurablevalueacrosscostqualityserviceandriskmitigation.

Aspartof theGlobalDirect Strategic team the Manager willwillcollaboratecloselywithregionalprocurementteamsFinanceandbusiness stakeholderstoensurealignmentbetweenglobalstrategiesandlocalexecution.Thisroleishighlyvisibleandrequires stronganalyticalcommercialandcommunication skillstoinfluenceoutcomesacrosstheorganization.

What you will do:

Lead the creation execution and delivery ofboth North America andglobal chemical category strategies.

Translatechemicalprocurement strategiesinto actionable category plans with measurable KPIs across regions.

Monitorcategoryperformanceandprovideupdatestoleadership.

Conductthoroughassessmentsofglobalchemicalspendandidentifycostreductionopportunities.

Partner with Finance to provideaccuratecost forecasts market impact analysis and monthly variance reporting.

Develop and negotiate contracts in collaboration with Legal Suppliers and Business stakeholders.

Managedesignatedstrategicsupplierrelationshipstoensureperformanceacrossqualitycost deliveryandservice.

Conduct regular supplier reviews against contractual standards and performance expectations.

Collaboratewithsupplierstoidentifyinnovationopportunitiesandmitigatesupplyrisks.

Assess global market trends forecasts risks and geopolitical impacts relevant to chemicals.

Develop risk management strategies including alternative sourcing options and supply continuity planning.

Driveadherencetoprocurementtechnologyplatforms(SAPPowerSteering)andcompanypolicies.

Identifyopportunities to streamline procurement processes and ensure alignment across country regional and global levels.

Promotebestpracticesinprocurementandsourcingexecution.

What you will bring:

Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Engineering Finance or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

5-8years of procurement or sourcing experience with significant exposure to chemicals or direct materials.

Proventrack recordin managing global categories supplier negotiations and delivering measurable cost savings.

Strong analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling budgeting and forecasting.

Experience with SAP and other procurement technology platforms.

Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersacross functionsand geographies.

Provenabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesanddeliverresultsin a fast-paced globalenvironment.

Collaborativemindsetwithstrongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail.

Pay Range:

$123500.00-$164700.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
