Job Summary
As a Technology Integration Group (TIG) Liaison you will be a key member of auniqueteam of seniorcybersecurityengineers. You will act as a subject matter expert and project manager responsible for enhancing the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) capabilitiesof theDISA CSSP and Boundary DCO teams. This role requires an individual who canoperateindependently manage complex projects and serve as the essential bridge between strategic acquisitions and tactical operators. You will be the primary conduit for yourassignedsite working toidentify problem solve and support solutionsthatresolve analysts challenges to improve daily operations.
This is a hybrid position allowing up to 50% remote work but applicants must be prepared to commute to one of our three sites 2-3 days/week: Columbus OH; Hill AFB UT; or Scott AFB IL.
Responsibilities include:
- Spearheadtechnology integration and capability enhancement projects frominceptionto implementation by performing the following:
- Research and presentation of technology concept
- Support onboarding and integration meetings
- Brief government and contractor stakeholders through the process.
- Coordinatetraining and acceptance testing
- Support thelaunch and after-action reviews
- Foster andmaintainconsistentlines of communication with both Government and Contractor personnel including Program Management Offices technology integrators DCO analysts and external partners.
- Deliverregular project updates and briefings to various stakeholders from DCO analysts to senior leadership like the DISA Director.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on adiverseportfolioof DCO tools and capabilities with the ability to rapidlymasternew andemergingtechnologies.
- Exhibit a relentless curiosityand consistently seek opportunities to improve technical skills and remain curious driving towards a deeper understanding of our DCO tools and methodologies.
- Conduct in depth research andanalysis ofproduct documentation architecture diagrams CONOPS and other technical materials to inform integration efforts.
- Proactivelyidentify build andmaintainrelationships with DCO partnersacross DISA.
- Collaborate directlywith site-level DCO analysts Countermeasures/Detection Engineers and leadership to capture refine and champion innovative ideasaddress operationalchallenges andidentifyareas for improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able topossessa Top-Secret w/ SCI clearance.
- DoD8140IT Project Manager 802(EN) at the basicproficiencylevelsuch as CompTIA Security CECASPetcprior to starting.
- DoD 8570 CSSP-A level Certification such as CEHCySA GCIA or other certification isrequiredwithin 180 days of hire.
- Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience in cybersecurity systems engineering or technical project management;additionalwork experience or Cyber courses/certifications may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated commitment to training self-study andmaintainingproficiencyin the technical cybersecurity domain.
- Demonstrated experience in project management including planning scheduling and risk assessment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience briefing both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently with little to no oversight and function effectively as part of a distributed team.
- Must be a US Citizen due to clearance requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DISA and DoD Networks and a strong understanding of the DCO mission particularly at DISA Global.
- Project and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP common networking ports and protocols traffic flow system administration and defense-in-depth principles.
- Experience with intelligence-driven defenseutilizingframeworks such as the Cyber Kill-Chain or MITRE ATT&CK.
- Subject matterexpertisein common security platforms such asSecurity Information Event Management (SIEM)(Splunk Elasticsearch)Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR) andEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Experience fostering collaboration across disparate teams and championing a proactive cybersecurity culture.
- Experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP) including Azure Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107900.00 - $195050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
