The Advanced Effectors and Space (AES) SSBU is Raytheon Advanced Technology Strategic Business Units (SBU) development team responsible for design and maturation of next generation weapons and integrated systems. The AES portfolio contains a collection of development CR&D and IR&D programs servicing a broad customer base spanning the major services and research labs. We are seeking a Senior Manager to serve as a Proposal Manager for the portfolio reporting directly to the AAWS Senior Director.

This role is Onsite located in Tucson Arizona and requires frequent travel.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the AES leadership team and integrated functional teams to develop new business capture strategies and then lead the proposal activity
• Lead the development of production infrastructure contracting and investment strategies for the portfolio
• Responsible for management and reporting of portfolio NBI budget related to proposal development
• You will work closely with R&C to shape customer requirements and offer solutions to their biggest problems
• Ability to prioritize and manage a high-mix workload (multiple projects at once)
• Domestic travel frequently for customer and/or supplier engagements

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
• Proposal and/or business capture experience
• Experience managing cost schedule and technical performance for programs with use ofprogram managementtoolssuch as EarnedValueManagementSystem (EVMS) IntegratedMasterPlan (IMP) IntegratedMasterSchedule (IMS)Riskand OpportunityManagement Scope Board or similar business processes
• Experienceleadingteams
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain additional clearances after start

Qualifications We Prefer

• Existing TS/SCI clearance.
• Demonstratedsuccesscreating and maintainingstrongexecutive levelrelationshipswith supplierscustomers government representatives primes and internal peers.
• Experienceleading proposal efforts to include large value (>250M) through corporate level gating processes.
• Experience with contract negotiations and executions with varying contract types (IDIQ OTA Etc).
• Experience leading missile development activities.
• Experience integrating systems on airborne land-based and/or sea-based platforms. Space program experience also desirable.
• Experience with missile whole life considerations including but not limited to system safety and logistics.
• Familiarity with government acquisition process.
• Program Management Level 3 Certification and knowledge of Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM)

  The salary range for this role is 132400 USD - 251600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
