What Youll Do
As a QA/QC Field Technician youll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of materials used to build the roads and infrastructure our communities rely on every day.
- Perform field and lab testing on construction materials including Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA)
- Ensure materials meet or exceed project specifications and quality standards
- Interpret test results and proactively address quality concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Calibrate and care for testing equipment
- Continuously develop your skills through training and hands-on experience
What Were Looking For
Were seeking dependable detail-oriented individuals who are ready to learn and grow.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain NECEPT Field Technician Certification
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an active hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (including testing equipment)
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting bending and working with materials
- Willingness to work overtime nights and weekends as needed
- Commitment to safety including compliance with all safety protocols
