Systems Engineer IV Chesapeake, VA

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer IV to join our team in Chesapeake VA.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the planning design evaluation and troubleshooting of mission-critical multi-level secure C5I Systems to include electrical mechanical network interface requirements and HMI design.
• Conduct research to solve complex problems and provide input for future modernization efforts.
• Resolve difficult interoperability problems between integrated communications stations and production networks.
• May work in a lab environment to test system designs and provide test report feedback.
• Participate in Engineering reviews as required.
• Provide technical representation at meetings with senior staff as required in support of submarine C5ISR systems design installation maintenance and life cycle support design issues and concerns.

EXPERIENCE:

• Thirty Plus (30) years of professional experience in submarine engineering and programmatic support of C5ISR systems.
• In-depth knowledge of submarine C5ISR systems engineering installation maintenance HM&E Support requirements for Virginia and Columbia class submarines.
• In-depth knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including but not limited to zones screening devices and typical design.

EDUCATION:

• Masters level degree in an Engineering discipline.
