Overview
Amerita Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and work in our Centennial CO office.
Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population increase in chronic diseases robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.
As a core member of the Accounting team you will be expected to perform a variety of general accounting tasks including preparation of journal entries accounts reconciliations and analysis cash management activities and ad-hoc special projects. Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant you will...
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations.
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Analyze revenue cost of sales and operating expense trends and prepare related accruals.
- Perform inter-company balance review and reconciliation.
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting reconciliation to fixed asset subledger and compliance with related accounting policies.
- Analyze physical inventory variances and generate reports to facilitate management review.
- Prepare payroll entries and reconcile to payroll reports and source data. Review payroll as processed by Human Resources.
- Prepare profit and loss statements for the branches and follow up with branches as needed.
- Assist with month-end close and consolidation processes cash management activities audit preparation and company merger and acquisition activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting from accredited university
- CPA and public accounting firm experience preferred
- At least three (3) years of strong experience in an accounting role
- Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Creativity and outside-the-box thinking a definite plus
