Sustainable Comfort Inc. is in search of a Certified HERS Rater to join our team in Worcester MA. As a Certified HERS Rater you will be an essential part of our mission to drive sustainable construction practices and reduce the environmental impact of multifamily housing. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects collaborate with industry experts and further your career in green construction consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct HERS ratings and energy assessments for multifamily residential buildings.

• Collaborate with architects builders and developers to optimize energy performance.

• Prepare comprehensive reports with energy efficiency recommendations.

• Perform diagnostic tests including blower door and duct leakage tests.

• Stay current with industry standards and certifications.

• Certified as a HERS Rater.

• Knowledge of green building principles and sustainable construction practices.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in energy modeling software is advantageous.

• Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
