Job Summary

Schedule: Part Time rotating 16 and 24 hours per week 40 hours per pay period 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

What Youll Do In This Role:
Be a key part of keeping our community safe secure and running smoothly. As a Maintenance Technician youll help maintain the grounds facility and equipment in top condition. From routine upkeep to addressing repair needs your work supports a clean functional and secure environment for everyone on site. Youll play an essential role in upholding regulatory standards and facility policies while making a visible everyday impact through hands-on work and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment including plumbing plastering electrical carpentry and mechanical work as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
Service heating and cooling units/systems as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Perform occasional maintenance on grounds parking areas driveways etc. by cutting trimming policing sweeping removing snow and salting as necessary/directed.

Safety and Compliance

Perform routine safety checks of door lock systems water temperatures etc. as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
Assure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up before performing floor cleaning duties and removed/stored in a timely fashion after the floor is dry.

Cleaning and Sanitation

Clean/polish furnishings floors fixtures ledges room heating/cooling units resident cottages/apartments clubhouse/common areas offices etc.
Clean and sanitize vacant cottages/apartments as assigned.

Event and Setup Support

Set up and take down tables chairs and equipment for indoor or outdoor functions as directed.

Housekeeping and Backup Support

Provide occasional backup support for housekeeping duties.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

Experience in a Maintenance Tech position.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel residents family members visitors government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
