A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a maternity leave cover.
The successful candidate will provide operational and organizational support to the team contributing to the efficient management of events logistics activities and administrative processes in compliance with company procedures and requirements.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Supporting the organization and coordination of corporate events (meetings congresses training sessions).
- Managing administrative tasks related to events and support activities (documentation approvals tracking).
- Assisting in the management of promotional materials.
- Coordinating logistics activities (transportation shipments deliveries returns supplier management).
- Managing demo units and loaned materials: request tracking shipping and return.
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Collaborating with internal functions (Sales Marketing Finance Compliance) to ensure proper execution of activities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience in operational support logistics events or back-office roles.
- Proactive solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for events.
- Good command of the English language.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance with procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good familiarity with IT tools and management systems.
