Centurion is proud to partner with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide high-quality medical and mental health services. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Dodge State Prison.

Schedule

• Day Shift 10 hr. shift 40 hours per week Tuesday- Friday 7:30 AM 6:00 PM

• One weekend rotation (typically every 34 weeks) Holiday coverage varies

Compensation

• $29.00 $34.00 per hour (based on years licensed as an LPN)

• $1.50 shift differential$1.00 weekend differential

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to an incarcerated patient population within the scope of practice. This role works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with the healthcare team to support patient care treatment plans and clinical operations.

Essential Duties

• Provide direct patient care including medication administration and treatments

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the RN or provider

• Accurately document nursing assessments and interventions

• Assist with intake screenings and chronic care clinics

• Follow established policies procedures and safety protocols

• Collaborate with custody and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

Minimum Qualifications

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (required)

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance including drug screening and criminal background check
