Where Youll Make a Difference
- Perform proactive and detailed maintenance tasks in plumbing electrical systems and general building upkeep.
- Operate measurement equipment including multimeters gas meters temperature meters and airflow meters.
- Apply understanding of AC/DC voltages liquid pressure pneumatic/hydraulic systems vacuum pumps and waterpumping equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
- Operate troubleshoot repair calibrate and inspect a variety of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory utilities such as compressed air RO/DI water natural gas oxygen nitrogen and gas detection systems.
- Install 1/81/2 soft and rigid tubing for air gas and water applications.
- Prepare install relocate and perform seismic bracing on laboratory/process equipment.
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks pallet jacks hydraulic dollies and specialty moving tools.
Working Hours & Flexibility
- Normal Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Shift Work: Ability to work alternative shifts (10:30 AM 6:30 PM) for approximately 30 days 23 times per year.
- Flexibility:
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Able to be on call for after-hours support.

- Comfortable working at heights (ladders up to 15) and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions including outdoors cold rooms heat and humiditycontrolled areas.
- Willingness to obtain respirator certification.
- High school diploma plus technical training (AA/AS or trade school) and experience in facilities maintenance in a laboratory environment.

- Familiarity with AC/DC electrical principles basic plumbing refrigeration systems and controls.
- OSHA safety training and forklift/powered industrial truck certification.
- Knowledge of gas detection systems and related safety protocols.
