Salary: Salary Schedule $52537- $93254 will be updated with final 2026 April CPIU (based on years of experience and education)

Retirement Contribution: Greater Albany School participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility the district contributes 6% of an employees salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.

Position Summary: The Foundational Skills Classroom Teachers are access experts for students receiving their education with their same age peers in the general education and special education settings. The FSC focuses on teaching routines leading to the highest degree of independence possible for each student. The FSC serves students in kindergarten and through 12th grade identified with significant cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities. The teacher will be a resource to families and other school staff around the students they serve and how to meaningfully include them in the school community where the programs are located.
