Mechanical Engineer I

The Mechanical Engineer 1 designs fabricates develops and tests solutions to improve reliability capability throughput and the safety of production equipment jigs/fixtures workstations and material handling equipment.

The Mechanical Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver safe cost-effective and high-quality solutions.

• Support Maintenance to identify problem solve and resolve issues in production equipment.
• Design fabricate develop and test jigs/fixtures material handling equipment and production workstations.
• Assist with Equipment Retrofits.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with daily issues.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and folder structure format.
• Develop bill of materials and procure necessary materials.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering is required
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD Creo or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
